The First Pensford Wine Festival 2009

The Festival was a great success and our thanks go to all who helped out and supported our first attempt. John Durston and Alun Cox's superb presention of 12 wines as 6 sets of 2 comparing modern and classical wines from six countries. An extremely informative session which provided a wealth of information for those wanting to learn more about wine.

The evening session also proved a very busy with a constant stream of people back and forth trying as many as possible of the 30 or so wines available to taste.
